Prenatal Massage

Pregnancy is an incredible process in which the mother’s body undergoes dramatic changes to grow another life inside of themselves. While this is a beautiful and completely natural process, the demands on the mother’s body are immense. Massage can help alleviate excessive pain and discomfort during pregnancy and can significantly assist in the recovery process postpartum.

Prenatal Massage can be performed during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. The primary focus is made on providing comfort and support for the pregnant person as their body undergoes significant changes. Pregnancy massage is known to relieve headaches, sinus congestion, backaches, sciatica and other hip/leg pain, swollen ankles, and improve sleep.

FROTH

(Fascial Resonance Oscillation Therapy)

Using a powerful trio of soothing touch, fascial-system traction and rhythmic oscillations, FROTh resonates through your whole body, bypassing the nervous system’s protective armoring (tension) to restore a more functional baseline resting tone.

A FROTh session will leave the receiver feeling the delightful sensations of lightness, spaciousness, and fluid-like mobility, and can help you embody these qualities throughout your daily life.

FROTh sessions can be done traditionally or fully clothed, provided clothing is loose, light and stretchy.

Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (12 Series)

Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI) is a 12-session, fascia-focused bodywork series designed to help you move with greater clarity, ease, and awareness. Blending hands-on release with active, joint-centered movement, ATSI refines your posture, sharpens proprioception, and guides you into a deeper, more integrated relationship with your body.

Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (3 Series)

Anatomy Trains Structural Integration 3 series takes a broader approach compared to the full 12 series, to cover the work in 3 sessions. This is still a fascia-focused bodywork series designed to help you move with greater clarity, ease, and awareness. Blending hands-on release with active, joint-centered movement, ATSI refines your posture, sharpens proprioception, and guides you into a deeper, more integrated relationship with your body.

SU’s focus

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue massage is not a massage with deep pressure. The human body has layers of muscles over layers of muscles. Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue.

Because of its ability to improve range of motion in joints that have lost mobility due to previous injury, deep tissue massage is primarily used to treat specific regions of your body. Rather than treating the whole body in one session, deep tissue massage focuses on regions of functionally connected muscles (ie, neck, shoulders and back or legs, hips and back, etc.

Fire Cupping

Fire cupping involves using a flame to create a vacuum in the hollow of the glass cups, which when applied to the skin, suction the tissue beneath them.

By gliding the cups around, they pull and stretch your tissue, releasing adhesions held within the superficial fascia. This also helps to flush metabolic waste and bring fresh nutrients and oxygen to the area by improving lymphatic drainage and blood circulation.
