Supporting Vermont’s Migrant Farmworkers With Bodywork That Honors Their Labor

At Sterling Touch Massage we have created an open fund to offer free, trauma-informed bodywork in Spanish to Vermont’s migrant farmworkers. These laborers, who are largely Spanish-speaking, rarely have access to this kind of care; especially not in their first language.

They harvest our food. They endure physical pain, harsh conditions, exhaustion, and the ache of feeling invisible in their community, our community.

Here at Sterling Touch Massage we value community, respect, and giving back.

This is not charity. It’s reciprocity. It’s respect. It’s showing up for our neighbors in a way that is tangible and deeply needed.

Our work is grounded in trust and tailored to the specific needs of each individual client. Being able to communicate in Spanish, their first language, opens a door that allows us to better honor their needs and care for their bodies.

We’ve pledged $2,500 worth of bodywork. Now, we’re inviting our community to match and multiply that effort through donations. Every dollar you give funds massage sessions in our studio or right where they live and work. Your help sustains our ability to offer this work without barriers.

Let your support uplift our community by providing care at a fundamental human level: touch, with respect and dignity.

Why Give?

  • They feed us.
Now it's our turn to offer something back. Real care, in the language their bodies understand.

  • Bringing free massage to Vermont’s farmworkers.
It’s not a luxury. It’s a quiet revolution, one healing session at a time.

  • Massage can be more than relaxation.
It is an opportunity for the nervous system to reset, allowing for healing to take place.

  • Most farmworkers in Vermont are Spanish speakers.
This creates an invisible barrier. We offer bodywork in Spanish, meeting workers where they are. In their language, in their bodies, and with respect.

  • Rest shouldn’t be a privilege.
Everyone should have the right to heal and rest. This work brings us closer to those who are too often left out.

  • There’s power in showing up.
Let your donation be an act of solidarity and reciprocity. Not just charity. Join us in supporting a part of our community that’s too often unseen, unheard, and underserved.
