AShiatsu

barefoot massage

The word itself is Japanese - Ashi (足) = foot / feet  Atsu (圧) = pressure

Ashiatsu literally means "foot pressure."

This approach to bodywork is unique, not just because it is performed by the practitioner with their feet rather than their hands, but because of how profound the felt experience is for the receiver.

The broad surface of the foot delivers deep, gravitational pressure and the slow, deep and steady gliding compressions feel profoundly grounding, relaxing and productive.

It deepens the connection they have with their body while muscular tension is rebalanced all throughout it.

Ashiatsu is the deepest & most pleasurable bodywork modality I have encountered.

Ashiatsu is so effective at rebalancing the tension of the muscle all throughout the body that it can leave the receiver feeling loopy and sometimes “useless” for the remainder of the day, as their brain processes and integrates the new alignment their body has. Although often people leave the session feeling uplifted, more mobile, flexible and energized.
